Postling’s Friday Finds — March 25, 2011
Every Friday the Postling team brings you the things we loved from the past week. From music and movies, to food and the world at large, we’ll put it all here.
Rebecca Black’s “Friday” Gets Even Funnier
One week out and we’re all still talking about Rebecca Black, which may be some sort of record for the internet. Almost 50 million views in, the world isn’t short on the various covers that have come out as of late. However, we think we’ve found the crème de la
crème. Do yourself a favor and watch this interpretation of “Friday” by a bad lip reader. Gang fight, gang fight, the gang is down to fight!
The Wife Said No, But Apple Said Yes

A funny story came out of Mac Rumors this week of a man who returned his iPad 2 with a sticky note on it saying “Wife said no”. Well, a few Apple VPs got wind of what happened and sent the man another iPad 2… this time with a note saying “Apple said yes”. Mental note to self, write funny notes when returning products in the hopes that they’ll find it charming and delightful and will send you a free one anyways.
OMG! No way… Really?! LOL!

Here we were, thinking it was crazy of the Oxford English Dictionary to add the word “bootylicious” a few years back (how do you spell “fad” again?), but they announced this week that they’ve added online-centric language to the dictionary. Call us crazy, but if you need to up how to spell “LOL” then there are other issues going on. Even better? They added the heart sign! Too good to be true, really. Check out the coverage on Mashable.
Friday’s Musical Find
John Legend - Rolling in the Deep (Adele Cover) by johnlegend
We’ve been on quite the Adele kick as of late (as has the entire country). John Legend soulfully croons all over this cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep”. Give it a listen, you won’t be sorry.

What did you find this week? Think we missed something big? Hate our taste in music? Go ahead, let us know. We won’t bite.
